This course covers the material in MUS200 at an advanced pace and in greater depth. Explorations into harmony and voice leading may be included. MUS201 is intended for students with previous instrumental/vocal experience who are comfortable reading music and have a basic working knowledge of keys and scales. The department recommends that MUS201 be taken in conjunction with the private study of an instrument or voice (MUS010).
