Description

This course explores the quest of one's identity through facets of Francophone societies. How can culture, customs, family, gender and language shape and influence identity in a progressively multicultural society? Materials may include essays, short stories, novels, radio programs, films, podcasts, newspapers and magazine articles. Readings may include works by Albert Camus, Collette Fellous, Mouloud Feraoun, Jean-Marie G. Le Clézio, Michel Montaigne, Amélie Nothomb, Voltaire. This course provides a special review for the AP French Language and Culture exam.
